66. Scale Into Trades

No one we know can buy the bottom tick and sell the top tick.

You have heard this a lot on our site. But, it is true!  We have tried for decades to do this and we still can't.  So, why try?

We came to terms with this thought and came up with a better solution using the idea that no one in the world can call the exact bottom tick price or top tick price.

As a broker, I met a trader who made 1,000,000 with me in one month when online trading just got started. He would come to the market every day 45 minutes before the close and place enter or exit orders all over the board. He never went all in at one price. He did this over and over and made 1mm doing this price his first month.

I asked him why he did it this way and his reply is exactly what we say here, you can't buy the bottom or sell the top, so why try?

The Go Fish Pro Trade Manager Max is designed all around the model of scaling into and out of trades.

Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.

Note: Go Fish Pro App (GFP) can also be used as a hot potato entry-exit if you prefer. Meaning all in and out of trades.

If a trader goes all-in on their first entry, our opinion is he would have NO GAME. Meaning, he/she would not be able to better their average price entry level.

GFP has 2 immediate functions to bring your average entry price down closer to the last price.

The first is called Go Fish which will add a set number of contracts or the same X ticks back from the average price. The Go Fish function can improve your average price by 50% of MORE when filled. The way you can get to more than 50% is by adding more contracts than the original entry. For example, if you started with 2 contracts, you can set Go Fish to enter with 4 more, then that would be over 50% better average price.

The second function is called Fast Track Eddie. This function will start to enter an additional set number of contracts when the market is beyond x ticks back up to a max set of contracts. What makes this function different than others is we set a delay function for each new order and what we call BETTER TICKS. Better ticks will place an order X ticks better each time rather than do a market order. In other words, this function is consistently working to put the odds more in your favor.

Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.

These two function work automatically for you and you can change the setting during live trades and the app will adjust in real-time.

GFP has a manual method using the Hot Keys on GFP.

Preset a predetermined QTY and X ticks back for each Hot Key.

Click one Hot Key at a time, or use the GFP Blanket Buy / Sell function to submit a set number of levels all at the same time.

Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.

Start small -

We start each trader out with a small quantity.  The minimum order might be only 2 contracts to start.

We are not smarter than you, or the market, but we are good at math using money management to enter all trades.

Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.

67. Scale Out of Trades

Futures, Options on Futures and Forex trading involves a substantial degree of risk of loss and is not suitable for all individuals. An investor could lose the entire investment or, in some cases, more than the initial investment. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.
